Sensata SGX Series High Voltage Contactor
The Sensata SGX Series High Voltage DC Contactors are engineered for applications requiring reliable switching and efficient design in low-power environments. Utilizing advanced ceramic-to-metal weld technology, these contactors are hermetically sealed and backfilled with hydrogen gas, effectively inhibiting oxidation and ensuring low, stable contact resistance. The SGX Series offers models capable of handling up to 1000V and continuous currents of 150A, 250A, or 400A at 85°C, catering to various power requirements. Designed to withstand ambient temperatures up to 175°C, they reduce the risk of fire or meltdown in overcurrent conditions. The square form factor facilitates easy integration as drop-in replacements for other brands, enhancing design flexibility. Compliant with IEC 60664-1 and RoHS standards, the SGX Series is suitable for applications such as residential energy storage systems (ESS), DC fast charging stations, electric forklifts, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and other industrial vehicles.
- Hermetically seal rated to 175°C – Reduced risk of fire or meltdown in over current conditions.
- Backfilled with gas (primarily hydrogen) to effectively inhibit oxidation, resulting in low and stable contact resistance.
- The insulation resistance stands at 1000MΩ (1000Vdc), while the dielectric strength between the coil and contacts reaches 4.0kV.
