HARTING ix Industrial Type C Connectors

HARTING ix Industrial® Type C Connectors expand the ix Industrial® series with a third secure coding option alongside Types A and B. Standardized according to IEC 61076-3-124, these connectors are designed for high-speed Ethernet applications, offering Cat. 6A Class EA transmission up to 500 MHz and supporting data rates from 10 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s. The compact design reduces space requirements by 70% compared to traditional RJ45 connectors, providing increased port density and robustness. Engineered for durability, they feature 360° shielding for excellent EMI protection and are rated for 5000 mating cycles with an IP20 protection rating. The connectors are available with solder and IDC terminations, accommodating 26 AWG to 22 AWG cables, and are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C.
